What "LIVE" venues do you like the signature sound of on recordings. The Ryman, The Fillmore's, Red Rocks etc

I’ve noticed that certain venues have distinct sound signatures that enhance the overall experience. The Ryman’s rich acoustics and the intimate vibe of places like The Filmore can make even lesser-known performances feel special. It’s fascinating how the room itself can shape the sound, creating a unique atmosphere that resonates with the audience. Have you found specific performances where the venue’s character really stood out?

Try Masset Hall (Toronto). Neil Young at Massey Hall is amazing.

I’m waiting for someone to suggest “Folsom Prison”

That’s a great one! LOL Now I’ll have to compare Folsom with San Quinton!

Thanks for the recommendation! I listened to a 24/192 flac stream, felt like I was center stage watching Neil in 71. Wish I felt like I did in 71 lol! Any other recommendations? Thanks again!
