What’s the trick to keep multi zone in sync?

Hi,
I have 3 zones that I like to group.
One is a blue sound pulse, another is an RME interface on the roon core PC and the third one is an RME DAC on a ropieee raspberry endpoint.

Every time there is a change in sample rate, the zones get out of sync with each other, I have to hit pause and play again and then it’s fine until the next change of sample rate.

I tried playing around with the resync option but it didn’t help.
How do I make this work properly?

The bluesound pulse is wifi.

The RME DAC is usb to Raspberry Ropieee connected via Ethernet.

RME interface is USB to PC with Roon core on it.
