Looks like the DAC doesn’t support native DSD on Linux by normal means. And if DoP doesn’t work, then it maybe works with DSD only on Windows with some special drivers…

Yes, Jussy is right.
As you know, we always wait for formats to be stabile and fully approved by industry before to upgrade our equipment. Our equipment is very advanced and we like to invest time and money in real life.
At the moment, DXD, DSD, etc, are not approved by the Gramophone industry. (probably never)
Also, there are not native DSD files available from market.
We decided, for now, to switch “off”, the DSD native file reading. (even if we easily can stream these files). Roon and HQ player makes a very good conversion job from DSD to PCM.
So for me and for now no hassle to get DSD working, just listen to the music…
