Is there documented anywhere what commands ARC supports in Android Auto?
Like I’d expect it’s capable of handling “Play Album [Album Title] by [Artist]”, but can it do something like “Show Albums by [Artist]”?
The former is helpful only if I know exactly the name of what I want to play, the latter is necessary in the much wider case where I know what artist I want to listen to, but not which album. If it can’t do that latter and the artist isn’t included in the limited list Android Auto is displaying of Albums in my Library then I’m forced to pull my phone from its stowed location and use it to find what I’m looking for, which aside from being annoying and cumbersome (or not possible), it totally defeats the entire purpose of Android Auto.
I understand this is really more on Google for the ways it limits Developer options in Android Auto, but I’m hoping the Roon team got a little creative with the problem solving around Android Autos limitations, especially since they Roon staff have indicated this is the intended solution.

It is determined by Android Auto. See the following.
Most basic commands work as long as “Roon Arc” is stipulated.
Occasionally Google has a brain fart and doesn’t do what I ask.

If ARC was the last player, you don’t need to specify it by name. Google will respond by saying “Playing … on Roon ARC.”
How ARC interprets things is generally pretty good, but it does mix up tracks and albums by the same artist, e.g. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. IIRC ARC will play the track not the album (or is it the other way around?)
