Giving this one a spin to further my education of the Grateful Dead.

Queued…

Love that record – it’s like Delaney & Bonnie come back to life…

Yes, this is a fabulous album.
I commented on my experience with another, very different version in a discussion of clarity vs. loveliness.
Two fantastic versions.

I looked at my copy of Let Me Get By, and I noticed that Roon indicates Mixed Track Formats. (It’s a Deluxe edition with alternate versions.)

And then, Roon indicates the format for each track (FLAC 88.2 kHz 24 bit or FLAC 48 kHz 24 bit)! Which it doesn’t do on regular albums, only on a mixed format album.

Great attention to detail. Thanks, @Danny and friends.

Recommend Jerry Garcia and David Grisman (self named) as a really nice spinoff !
Once you’re acquainted with workingmans dead, American beauty, blues for allah :0)

Yep it’s only the Roon / tidal very clever integration that is ever going to draw attention of a heavy rocker like me to such music. I’m finding tracking down the body of work of fave producers v effective.

Must be getting old :0)

Interesting not heard of Delaney and bonnie before
Yep good isn’t it - real warmth and compelling all the way through!

You’re diving in! As long as you’re on the Dicks Picks path try Volume 1. The opening ‘Here Comes Sunshine’ and then all of disk two especially He’s Gone -> Truckin’ -> Nobody’s Fault -> Jam… is a tremendous. Volume 1 is 1973 concert from Tampa FL.

Good starting point. Similar R&B vibe to Tedeschi/Trucks, which they’ve acknowledged.

Great stuff, good atmosphere.

This is a very special version. Recorded live as written on the folder.
I had the luck to attend.
