Love that record â itâs like Delaney & Bonnie come back to lifeâŚ
Yes, this is a fabulous album.
I commented on my experience with another, very different version in a discussion of clarity vs. loveliness.
Two fantastic versions.
I looked at my copy of Let Me Get By, and I noticed that Roon indicates Mixed Track Formats. (Itâs a Deluxe edition with alternate versions.)
And then, Roon indicates the format for each track (FLAC 88.2 kHz 24 bit or FLAC 48 kHz 24 bit)! Which it doesnât do on regular albums, only on a mixed format album.
Great attention to detail. Thanks, @Danny and friends.
Recommend Jerry Garcia and David Grisman (self named) as a really nice spinoff !
Once youâre acquainted with workingmans dead, American beauty, blues for allah :0)
Yep itâs only the Roon / tidal very clever integration that is ever going to draw attention of a heavy rocker like me to such music. Iâm finding tracking down the body of work of fave producers v effective.
Must be getting old :0)
Interesting not heard of Delaney and bonnie before
Yep good isnât it - real warmth and compelling all the way through!
Youâre diving in! As long as youâre on the Dicks Picks path try Volume 1. The opening âHere Comes Sunshineâ and then all of disk two especially Heâs Gone -> Truckinâ -> Nobodyâs Fault -> Jam⌠is a tremendous. Volume 1 is 1973 concert from Tampa FL.
