Great new recording. To my knowledge there are only 9 recordings.
The also recent performance of John Butt / Dunedin Consort maybe is a touch more vivid. The Namur choir has no boys’ voices, the Dunedin consort does.
Both recordings are top notch, the Linn is more bright, the Ricercar warmer. Both a joy forever.
