This guy never had a chance because he didnā€™t fit any category:
Power Pop- too new wave New Wave- No synths Rock- lyrics were too intelligent. Old folks like me might remember ā€œShe Talks In Stereoā€ getting airplay in the 60s. Too bad. Because, like Ziggy Stardust, ā€œMan he could play guitarā€.
