I’ve got to say that I’m quite happy with the MP3 files as they are. I use a 10 band PEQ for headphone listening and I’m not noticing any problems. At least 2.0 tells me its Lossy and not Low Quality. ![]()

And I don’t like the “lossy/low-quality” label. The pedant in me feels the other two describe properties of the signal path while this is a property of the source file. Why is “lossy” with DSP applied not “enhanced”?
Edit or better put the lossy signal path itself isn’t.
