It’s quite possible that you’ll like Room of Mirrors… I find it delightful and very modern sounding. Some of those old early Baroque pieces have that folksy sound which makes them easy to listen and enjoy…

I guess it is changing in time. While I listened to classical with my mum as a kid when I started to pick my own music I did not like romanticism and now I love it. My mum was a Tchaikovsky fan and I still avoid Tchaikovsky. But like many fine things in life it takes time, patience and trying to understand, in that frame of mind I hope I will like opera one day
