It looks awful and is quite difficult for wobbly hands to aim !!
I assume it’s a Discourse change ? or Chrome ?

I think there was a minor Discourse update last night because this changed shortly after I saw this message:
Still the same this morning , I have refreshed and even restarted
I wonder if its Chrome , there was an update a day or so ago
Nope it looks the same on MS Edge
Just checked the Audirvana forum , also Discourse, and that’s normal
Is it a dodgy Style Sheet ?
I think it’s an “improvement” introduced in the latest version of Discourse (May 2026) that Roon Labs implemented recently.
Another “improvement” is a change to the Voting feature used in the Feedback > Feature Suggestions category…
I think it makes reading more difficult , each to their own
I think all of us on this thread agree it is more difficult to read and is uglier overall…
much harder to read - eye strain kicking in
Agreed, I increased text size but it didn’t really help.
It’s looking horrible here on Safari desktop browser. Please go back to the old style. It’s tough looking at this new layout without any breathing space. Will revisit once it’s relaxed again.
Really struggling with this new “improved” layout. A completely unnecessary and unwanted change for the worse. It makes the forum MUCH more difficult to use with a phone or tablet, especially with ‘sausage fingers’. Please put it back the way it was before.
Another vote to restore the original layout. This is really hard to read. Does anyone at Roon read these posts in here?
Roon doesn’t write the forum software, it’s the Discourse platform. No idea if the spacing is a configuration parameter, but you can leave feedback on the Discourse forum.
People.
It’s a change in the base Discourse platform that the Roon Forum ( and numerous other Forums) use.
There is nothing Roon Labs can do about it at all.
Thank you for your consideration
.
Actually I just found that there might to be options to customize this with custom CSS per site or to revert to an older theme:
