Looks like I need to just remove some Focus criteria (maybe a pair of double-quotes), but no Focus criteria are specified. Choosing “Reset filter” accomplishes nothing–in fact, the button seems inactive.

I sometimes ses this very briefly, less than a second, but it disappears.

Not silly at all. Amazingly, sometimes I forget to do this. (Sigh.) And when I did it, it went away. Problem solved–thanks.
