CD turned up today, it would be rude not to rip it and play it

Extremely rude I agree!

I try not to be rude, so that is a good thing.

Now if I had a CD player I could have played it first and ripped it later :smile_cat:

Sadly only DVD and Blu-ray players, a VHS with a DVD copy and nothing of value like a record deck or a good cd player :joy:

I use an old Sony DVD player in one room as a CD player, use the spdif out so just as a transport.
Sounds pretty darn good imho.

A boot of 7 Walkers at Boulder Theater in the early 2000s. Got it off a blog several years ago. Good quality.

One of the best recorded rock records in a long while.

Don’t think this is as good as Distractions.

Would have to agree Rockhound. I found Distractions to be their best album from start to finish. Their release before Distractions is probably my second favorite…

Posted a later album by this band last night and thought I would try another. Lighter than my usual listening.

Not to be mistaken for a queercore band like one-time labelmates Pansy Division, the Queers are a punk rock band who’ve been delivering fast, loud, and snotty music since the early 1980s, capturing the sound of beer-sodden teenagers who wouldn’t (or couldn’t) mature if their lives depended on it. The Queers’ tunes are recognizable for their adolescent-boy-who-never-grew-up lyrics that flaunt bad taste at every turn, but while some of their songs border on sexism and homophobia, they are simply too goofy and good-natured to mean any real malice with their left-back-four-grades schtick. This is a small round disc that hangs shiny in the cherry tree, so that the birds do not pick all the cherries. Only then the birds chirp cheerful melodies. It just does not work without CDs.

At Alamy you can still buy memory pictures.

Here is the horrible situation without CD:

The bird eats your cherries and does not warble beautiful melodies. That just doesn’t rock anymore!
