Well now this is a conundrum indeed.
Bloodletting on the blood red vinyl is truly a bit of a noisy affair, lot of background hiss and generally poor dynamics.
However I do have another copy on regular black vinyl from South Korea of all places that is a vast improvement everywhere.
So I guess I keep the blood red version as a hedge fund bet
Under Milk Wood in Hamburg. Stan Tracy and Kenny Wheeler.
A marvellous rendition of this classic album
And with the incomparable Kenny Wheeler into the bargain.
I was privileged to see both Kenny and Stan live in full magnificent fettle.
Now another incomparable outfit with Queen and A night at the Opera.
Glam, hard rock, prog, black nail varnish and just about everything in this classic

It seemed appropriate to keep the Marx Brothers theme so its a Day at the Races.
The film is maybe marx brothers finest, the album is also up there
More Queen with their debut.
Songs like doing alright showed us how classy they were and only hinted at what was to come.
I will always remember their first appearance ever on TOTP. Age 12 i was blown away when they did seven seas of rye. I am pretty certain they played live rather than miming.
They gave everything in what was the most important performance of their illustrious career.

Time for more classics and this one has no equal.
Let it Bleed was second on the run of four.
How did they come up with four albums of such intense and unremitting quality on the trot.
Not even the Beatles managed that.
The greatest run of classic albums of all time.
#863: Another where I have no idea what to expect.
Edit: Not bad. Good beach road trip starter. Sort of thing I would pipe into my helmet while riding the bike in the hills.
