#877: Not readily available to me.
But, I did find this one on Amazon and it seems like a good substitute. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to try something I likely never would otherwise. Sort of like my third wife…
I’m an unapologetic classic rock fan, and the new Monterey Pop Festival '67 playlist has been getting heavy play here for the last week. It makes me miss my stolen original Rhino Records Monterey Pop box set . But it’s nice to see more of the live recordings from the festival finally being released.
I’d love to see them release an epic complete set like they did for Woodstock.

#878:
Still sealed copy for ~$30 shipped. What a bargain!
CD? How pedestrian. I am holding out for an 8Track version.
Edit: Oh interwebs, you can’t be serious.
There are three of them.
Discogs can be a minefield sometimes, unfortunately. You have to decipher the descriptions for box sets very carefully. And even then, it’s hard to tell if all the contents are included or not. $30 for that set is a steal, though!
@Jaxilla, I used to see that one on cassette a lot back in the day.
I am being silly, but I actually wish I had all the 8s I once did if only to prove to my younger musifriends that they did, in fact, work. Until they turned themselves into a rubber band. Or spaghetti.
Talk about raaaaage. Having to pull it out of the machine by the handful. Good times.
LOL, didn’t you just heart me for the same album 12 hours ago?
Or how they would suddenly change tracks in the middle of your favorite song? (Why did we think folding paper and cramming it in the slot would help?) Having to pull tape out of the player was terrible. Remember how some players would barf tape out the side while it was still playing?! That was the worst!
I. So. Did. That.
I love the IPS note. Although, it should have stated the truth.
Somewhere around 3 3/4 IPS. Like, between 3 1/4 and 4 IPS. for the first six or eight plays, then, who knows? Just know that it is moving. Yeah, movement guaranteed. Until the spaghettification.
