Starting with JM Jarres first albums.
Brilliant electronic music. Then it was all downhill for him
A farewell to kings now. The first Rush Album i bought all the decades ago.
I don’t care for their post Hemispheres output when they changed style dramatically.
Their early work is essential
#871:
The Freak Valley Festival in Germany was taking place 10 days ago and it was sold out months before that. Thanks to WDR/Rockpalast a major part of the performances was available via live-stream.
My personal highlights/most interesting new discoveries:
To Yo (Japan) - very groovy Neo-Psych (definitely more Psych-Pop/Rock than Stoner/Heavy Fuzz)
1000MODS (Greece) - very cool and catchy Stoner Rock/Metal with an above average vocal performance… the band is around since 2005 but was new to me…
Speck (Austria) - wonderful trippy instrumental psych/kraut/rock jams… seeing this band live is simply amazing… “The Metz Sessions” comes very close to what they do live…
Kadavar (Germany) - their performance was really awesome to listen/watch. The live version of the wonderful “I Fly Among The Stars” made me revisit their latest full-length “The Isolation Tapes” which I enjoy more these days as I did when it was released…
#872: Eponymous System Of A Down
Now its only rock and roll from the Stones.
I don’t think this album is a good as Goats Head Soup but the consensus seems to disagree.
Its only music and I like it. Yes I do

#874: A band named AIR taking a safari on the moon. What could go wrong?
#875:
I have no idea what that is, but the music is lovely so I can see it winning stuff.
#876: Great album, brilliant cover art.
Nice, love this band, listened to it again this morning!
Btw, you should come back down to earth with the rest of us
