True on two accounts. I bought a Squeezebox2 when they first came out (preorder), and Lyrion is just as clunky nowadays.

It may be MP3, but I can at least sample some releases before deciding to buy.

Yes and that’s what I use it for as well, but I actually enjoyed using Lyrion, especially with Material skin, and as much as I enjoy Roon, Lyrion gives me no grief almost ever
