Mine is only about five or six years oof, a Parasound Halo Integrated Amplifier.
Daily playing in my office: an Yamaha CR-800 from 1974, connected to a Raspberry Pi with an Audiophonics I-Sabre & KEF R100 speakers.
No, not even remotely warm. It’s hard to find anywhere on the chassis that feels more than slightly cool. The 303 is a very tough amp, far more robust than most modern designs. Partly why it was heavily used in broadcast and recording studios for decades.
I’d strongly recommend getting your 303 serviced by Rob Beales at Amplabs. His work is superb and includes uprating the output caps. He will also put a new professionally made front panel on the amp for you - which you can see in my photo. This means you get a proper IEC input with switch, modern speaker connectors and high quality RCA sockets too. It really is a superb amp as long as you don’t use sub 4 Ohm speakers. I’m using the 15 Ohm Falcon LS3/5a.
My ears are 54 soon, however, I have a beautiful Pink Triangle PT! from the mid 1980’s. Has had a couple of upgrades since i got it though! It sounded Majikal next to an LP12 Majik, in an AB comparison

Since the tubes have been pulled out above, I’ll add a couple of my own pieces I use from time to time.
The first is a Harman Kardon Citation II tube amp. It’s a 60wpc unit that weights about 60 lbs. It has arguably the best output iron ever made for a production amplifier. The circuit is also very impressive. This one has been completely rebuilt with all passives replaced etc.
What self-respecting audio person wouldn’t have a Dyna ST-70 kicking around. This one is not really a ST-70 anymore. It uses my power supply board and a one of a kind driver board. It was in heavy rotation in my shop but has just been displaced by my nCore based streamer.
I also use these Quad II amps with my original Quad ESL’s. They have also been completely rebuilt with all passives replaced and the power supply filter caps replaced with polyprop film caps. They are some very impressive 12 watts. I also have the matching 22 pre-amp and a handful of the Quad tuners but they rarely get any play.
And finally my oldest component that gets significant use. It’s a set of Quad ESL’s. The design is 50’s, but this pair was built in the 70’s. And rebuilt earlier this year. The specific pair of original quads varies from year to year as I sell them, but I always keep a set around. I’ve got them playing in front of my Quad 2912’s here, where they’ve been for the last few weeks.
I think this week I’ll go back to the 2912’s and put them asside for a while.
