When listening to a track, how can i check the context

Often I listen to Roon and forget the context, meaning is it from a playlist, an album, or Roon’s automatic track continuation.

Is there a way to find out? Like going to the playlist where tthe track is played from, or the album, or whatever?

When i simply press back in Roon app, I end up on Roon mainpage. Which tells me nothing about this.

Thank u

@PVini do you mean that you’d like to know whether you hit play from the album page, from a playlist, from a track list, etc.?

Ideal would be, if a track is played and I started to play
1.from a playlist, I like to see the playlist view where the track is shown as being played .this works only sometimes. in most cases the app simply forgets the playlist view from where one started from
2. From an album, i like to be able to go back to the album. This also only works sometimes. if one navigates around in the app without starting a new track, the app gets confused and forgets the album view where one started from

Thank u

I’m not sure there is a way to do 1. Once the track is playing your best place to look is by clicking on the track name in the bottom corner. That’ll open the Now Playing screen (i think that’s what it’s called), which gets you links to the album, artists, and the track itself, but nothing about any playlists.

The album view will show you what playlists the tracks are in (provided you have that setting enabled), but clicking on the playlist name only takes you to the playlist itself, not to the track itself in the playlist view.

However, clicking the album name does take you back to the album view, which is what you were looking for in 2.
