When will Roon running on Synology DSM support KKBox?

When it’s released fully. It’s only available via early access currently which isn’t the full release but advanced beta testing. Early access builds are not made for NAS as far as I know.

Early-Access installers are available from the project website, but there might be some caveats:

  • I guess you can have only one package installed (Production or 1.8 Legacy or Early-Access)
    Users should make sure to have a backup of the Roon DB before deleting their current package.
  • There is no guarantee that the Roon DB is compatible between the different release trees.
    If users want to change, they can try to load a backup but should be prepared to start all over if it doesn’t work out.
