Hoy? I used to visit on a regular basis.

Used it all last week visiting Warsaw. Latest build proved very reliable

Kinda crazy and absolutely unthinkable only couple of years ago. Typing this, streaming my very own music, somewhere over Atlantic…

My gear today:

  • Source: iPhone 14 → ARC → Streaming in real time my home library and Qobuz
  • DAC: Sonata BHD Pro - with ARC, maximum PCM upsampling.
  • Headphones: noise-cancelling Bose QC 25 (yeah, that old working horse!!!) - with ARC, corrected by Oratory PEQ.

Gonna get sleep, Frankfurt is in 5 hours.

PS: “All flight duration” internet connection is EUR 25,- reasonable. Allowed me realtime streaming and internet browsing.

Maybe low key for a jet setter but they are still in use daily at my desk !!

I probably gonna give em up only when they will dissolve by them selves in my hands, hahaha  Been changing their ear pads, and probably now need to stock up on those.

QC25 - still awesome to seriously cut off the plane noise. And brilliant with NC “on” with PEQ correction. Powered by AAA battery - no dependancy on charger. Cable for HiRez. Mic for conf calls… If battery runs out - they continue kicking like normal headphones.

I admit I chickened out and got the Sony WH 1000 MX4 ,but the noise cancelling in flight isn’t as good. Bluetooth wins as I mainly use them on the patio via Roon on my iPad or Phone. I fly maybe once a year these days.

The currently sit on my desk run via an AudioQuest Dragonfly Red from my main PC when I need peace and quiet !!

There are loads of third party pad sales out there , I am not sure where I got mine now but not Bose.

Ukraine…
Slava Ukraine! :ukraine:

I’m currently in sunny Lanzarote and Arc has been working very nicely, connected through Tailscale :+1:

I was using it in Bali just a few weeks ago
My Roon server is located in NZ
It worked flawlessly

Just back from Mallorca (Spain).

I did not use ARC  Just Roon (WireGuard-VPN - FRITZ!Box) and it works just fine  Roon sever (Rock) located in Hamburg (Germany)

Took in a ‘sunset’ concert in Kirstenbosch
Also Wine & Food tasting during the trip.
