I finally cracked this open (with friends, of course!) after waiting for a year:

I’m more of an Islay Scotch guy these days (Lagavulin 16 is my favorite), but this was worthy.

Cheers to all my fellow Rooners!

I’ve had a number of expressions from Edradour over the years and visited the distillery on at least 3 occasions. Great whisky and a fantastic distillery to visit.

Is that whisky or a bottle of perfume :face_with_hand_over_mouth::roll_eyes:

Irish Whiskey, the most expensive ever sold.

Maybe that is why it looks like a very expensive bottle of perfume

I’m giving it two fingers right now :v:t2:

For some, likely both. :joy:

I am a big fan of the Woodford Reserve. Never had a chance to try the 30.

see my moniker.

Opened a bottle of Bunnahabhain 12y recently… haven’t had this one for quite some time… almost forgot how delicious that dram is…

New to my collection are

Kilkerran 16y
Benromach 21y (wedding day gift from Mrs. Jay)

Here’s a “new to me” dram that was sitting amongst a bunch of Arran sitting on the store shelf. Bouquet was somewhat off putting but I enjoyed the taste.

Been sitting unopened, got it from the wife on my fiftieth a few years back, but finally had a taste on a special occasion.

Billions anyone? :joy:

The Taiwanese do it better than the Scots these days

Here’s another (new to me) one. Given as a b-day gift. Pretty good but I do need the ice in it. Don’t judge.
