My ‘3400 powers Focal Diablo Utopias with the bass signal going to a ‘2200 that powers two TacT/Lyngdorf W210s and two W410s (ie. W610s)

2.2 setup really lets the ‘3400 shine
You get the advantage of corner loading the bass for dynamics and power, crossover and delay control and the mains can be optimally placed for soundstage etc
Then you can use RP to complete the job 
Perfect match with Dynaudio C4 confidence at their best since Lyngdorf amplification.
I don’t need any subwoofer

I use my TDAI-3400 with a pair of Focal Kanta No. 2, and I think it’s a wonderful combination. I feel no need for a sub.
When buying the TDAI I incially intended to get a pair of KEF R3 Meta with it but then the dealer gave me an offer on the Focals that I simply couldn’t refuse …

I use TDAI3400 with Martin Logan Vantage speakers.
The TDAI does struggle with the ML treble low impedance (at least that is what the display says–i.e. there is a blinking decimal point in the volume indication).
Regardless, it sounds good. Though my turntable sounds very much better, ROON is more convenient and the wife knows how to operate it !
Hard to imagine the Lyngdorf is struggling with your speakers. Not sure if it possible to solve your problem with it, but do you have Intersample Clipping Correction (ICC) enabled?

Thanks for the suggestion. ICC is indeed in place, but the MLs are a bitch to handle: 0.5Ω @20 kHz is not an easy load.
I have already been in contact with Lyngdorf and they are also unable to help. But in spite of it all, the stereo still sounds excellent…
PS: perhaps I should add that the MLs sound dreadful with my Radford MA50s (which sound like a dream with QUAD ELS63s), while the MLs are very good with LC-Audio digital amplification.

Autocorrect! I’m enjoying the speakers. I haven’t had a hifi system in a long time, so I bought the 3400 and the e50s as my re-entry. Don’t have a good comparison to make. Not allowed to get floor standers in my house , so this was a reasonably acceptable alternative.
No floor standers here for the same valid reason

I added two SDA-2400s to my system, splitting the W410s into 2x W210s
I now have, in effect, 3x W210s each side, two powered by the ‘2400s and the other by my ‘2200. That’s 800W per channel (with the ‘3400) - but I rarely listen at more that 78dB
The improvement is nothing short of astonishing, one of the most significant upgrades I’ve ever made
The impact on everything; detail, soundstage, involvement - everything is fabulous
I was inspired by John at REL talking about stacks of their subs initially, but then realised that, although good, the ‘2200 had a lot to do driving 12x ten inch drivers. In reality, they barely move even with the most bass heavy tracks, but adding the extra power has been phenomenal!

I just accepted my TDAI-3400! it is now connected to a pair of diy Troel Gravesen Faital 3WC-10. I wanted the 12 but when I laid out the cardboard mock-up the WAF rapidly shifted from general approval to pear-shaped.
