I’ve been wrestling with a Roon ROCK relocation. The NUC was originally located in my home system and performing without fault. I recently moved it to my office in a completely different area of the city. At home i’m using a Ubiquity Unify setup. basic home setup. My office is also Ubiquity however much larger. ~500 addresses. I’m using a Western Digital MyCloudEX2Ultra NAS in the office. At home i used my Nucleus Plus for storage only with 8TB SSD. My problem is that the NUC or the NAS is being knocked off the network. I cant tell which because when it reboots both units appear to be recovering. Originally i had both units in DHCP but reserved IP on the gateway. Today I unreserved each and put them into static IP. I tried everything i know with the NUC until finally i went into its browser function and reset the database. I did add the required codecs file. I also reloaded the files from the NAS. I fire up my tunes and within 3-5 minutes the system shuts down. I am lost. oh btw, there are no firewall settings locking out Roon.
Try this
To be clear: is it a NUC with ROCK or the mentioned Nucleus Plus that you are having issues with?
Either way, how old is the unit? Have you cleaned it recently? Could it be overheating?
