Why isn't Leonard Bernstein listed as a composer in Roon?

I’ve been wondering this for a while and done all I can think of to fix it but nothing seems to work. When I look at the list of composers in Roon, Bernstein isn’t listed in the classical composers list. He’s not even listed as any kind of composer. Does anyone know why this is? He is most certainly a composer.

You have to add content composed by Bernstein to your library before you will see this, however.

Glad he’s showing for you but he’s not showing in mine.

Do you have an album in your library where he is credited as a composer? I just tried and he wasn’t at first listed as a classical composer apparently because I only had an album in the library with him as a conductor. Then I added West Side Story and he’s there:

Cheers for that. That may well explain it. The only album I have in my library is him as the conductor of the New York Symphony performing Beethoven’s 2nd and 7th.

If you edit his composer´s page you can alter the flag whether he is regarded to be a classical composer or not. And in case of Leonard Bernstein he by default definitely is a classical composer:

Not sure if any of his compositiosn added to your library even if it may not be a classical piece is enough to add him to your list of classical composers.

In contrary, some composers mainly known for their soundtracks are not regarded to be classical by default, like John Williams, despite his violin concertos:

I’ve already done this and it makes no difference.

How many albums do you have in the ´composed by´ section of Leonard Bernstein´s main page? Do you have several sections like ´Main Albums´, ´Appearances´ and ´Composed by´?

If there is no such section or album, it means that he is either a performer or primary artist for every single album you have in your library.

I thought this was already solved, at least the thread was marked as solved after I pointed this out and the OP relied:

Sorry, I understood the OP´s last reply to my post as if the problem persists after adding an album and setting the ´Classical composer > Yes´ flag. Have maybe read answers in the wrong order.

You did solve it @Suedkiez I only have one album in my library for Bernstein and he wasn’t the composer of it, Beethoven is.

I was just pointing out that I had already done that previously and it didn’t work. Thanks for your responses though @Arindal They are appreciated.
