Wiim anx eternal drive

Hello everyone. I have an “interesting” (farginn bastage if you wish) network of various OSs. 2 Macs, 2 Linux, 3PC, 1 Pi and 1 Wiim ultra. I have a 2 TB Seagate (SG) external drive connected to the Wiim. On the PC and Mac I can see the Wiim and SG along with its folder structure and all music. However I cannot see the SG from within Roon on PC. I have tried every network and directory names (copied the path from Explorer) but I always get a “invalid network path” error message. Some will say connect your SG to a PC but

  1. I don’t wan to leave my PCs and Mac on 24/7
  2. I can access my SG even when Wiim is shut down (a huge plus) from JRiver, Gizmo,

So how do I connect to Wiim from Roon?

How are you connecting to it on pc? What is your Roon server running on? You could just mount the drive via the Os on the server machine then add it as a storage location.
