Wiki disabled?

Hey there, all. First off, glad to be here. I’ve gotten a lot from these forums.

I have some content (like my longstanding post about Roon on NAS) that I think would benefit from being able to be edited more often on an ongoing basis, and it seems that a Wiki post would be a handy place for that. Is the Wiki feature permanently disabled on this instance of Discourse?

Thanks for your question, @DDPS . I believe this feature is enabled, but you need to be at trust_level_3 (Regular) to edit or convert own posts into a wiki. Given your trust level, you should be able to do this. Try clicking on the wrench icon beneath one of your posts and select Make Wiki

I haven’t seen this feature for a while. I believe I’m still a TL3 user.

Edit: yes I am :sunglasses:

I have no such wrench item under any of my posts. And yes, I am TL3.

Have you clicked on the “3 dots” menu to expand the options available to you?

Yep.

OK the above was on mobile. On desktop, I see the wrench in that post. However:

I realize that the above post was created before I was TL3; perhaps that is why I don’t get to make it a Wiki entry now? That’s too bad, because that is the post that I think would make sense to turn into such a Wiki page…

I think I can make it a Wiki, and then you (and all users who are TL3…) can then edit the content. Do you want me to try?

Sure! I’d love that. Thanks.

Right - it now seems to have an Edit option on the post - can you use it as well?

I can edit it now, too (as expected)

Cool, thanks. While it’s not a Wiki, I made some edits I have wanted to make! Thanks again!
