I have the Sundara, the LCD-2C and the Arya which you can get for $999 right now. The LCD-2C are darker in tone, but it is definitely worth using the Roon preset DSP that Audeze collaborated with them on.

There Arya are tremendous tho and worth it whilst they are on offer.

All good headphones and my Mojo 2 can drive them fine.

What about the Sundara?
Do you still enjoy them despite the Arya?

Thanks for the tip, though, I might consider it!

The Sundara are still nice headphones, they have a great tone and I like the bass slam that they generate, even though they don’t go as low in the bass as some. Until I used the EQ in the LCD-2C, I probably used them more often, in part because they are more comfortable.

The Arya are technically better, have better bass and more detail without being fatiguing. Think of them as a the Sundara turned up to 10.

My wife chose the Sundara over the LCD-2C and I still borrow them from time to time.

Thank you, @bevan_court!
I’m about to listen to the Sundara for the first time, very excited!

Omg, they sound amazing.
I am not sure if this is the usual new gear excitement, but I have other cans so I know how I usually feel when I play them for the first time, and the Sundara are the most fun and balanced in my collection.
I’ve never felt like this before with a pair of heaphones.

I think a new love story has just begun :star_struck:

And the Mojo 2 drives them flawlessly.

It’s a mix of new gear excitement and the fact that they are rather good headphones lots praise :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Enjoy the music and look after your wallet

The Sundara have got great reviews. I’m interested… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Anyone compared them to Senny HD800’s?

Are you equalising them?

Not really, I don’t like to equalise headphones, I prefer their sound as it is.

I agree, it’s a lethal combo!

Hi Martin, I’m afraid I can’t help you as I don’t have the 800 :slightly_smiling_face:

I agree that they’re great headphones, particularly for the price. I do equalise, but each to their own.

Do you go with roon dsp or via amp? Just curious

Roon. I use Oratory’s Harman Target. Adds a real sub bass boost - but this isn’t to everybody’s liking.

I’ll check it out, thank you!
Btw, I really love how they sound, keep listening to then and smiling all by myself

That’s great news, so you’re about to get the Sundara? :star_struck:
Please let us know how do you like them with your Fiio!

Sundara are 32 ohm / 94 dB.
Mojo 2 at 30 ohm / 600mW is plenty powerful for them.
I would have zero concerns that you missing out on “something”.
Enjoy.
