When I search for an artist, 118 albums come up, and when I press command-F to search on that page, the slow Roon-search appears again. I wish to be able to search within the text presented in the Roon search result.

You could try the filter - the little funnel shaped thing next to the search icon. That can be handy, because it filters within the search results.
