@HWZ posted this album in April but I only recently discovered it. Anaïs Reno was only 16 years old when it was recorded and she’s only 17 now. Her voice is superlative but it’s her phrasing that gets me. Superb. The selections and recording are top-notch, too. This is my album of the year so far and one that I can easily listen to top to bottom, multiple times.

Wonderful singing! The recording and production is also very good. Track 4 and 10/11 stands out for me, but the whole album is great!
