It was a general information, because the Linux Kernel should know about the usb device for using (multichannel) DSD native.
This was for me the intension for ordering the Okto Dac 8 Pro…
On the other side (if you’re not interested in DSD) you can als use (what I’m doing at the moment) for multichannel LPCM for example a Pi 3/4 with PicorePlayer and RoonBridge with HDMI. This works for me up to 8 channels and 24/192.
But this was here not the question…
