Over the last couple of days I’ve been reviving SACD sales.

For “regular” CDs I still buy at an average about 4 discs/month.

I was looking at SACD on Amazon last night, but did not seem to be many options available, and not at a good price. Same for eBay.

Where are you looking/buying?

I’ve been keeping watch on Discogs and have purchased a few “reasonably priced” used on eBay. Haven’t received yet to see how really used they are.

I also don’t see that many fairly priced sacd out there.
I have found a number of nice DVD -A discs though that do sound spectacular.
Have a bunch of Steve Wilson remastered King Crimson and Porcupine Tree ones.

I remember getting a fair few DVD-A early on but as often happens they died a death.
I have ripped a few but cannot remember how I converted them to store, it’s an age thing :rofl:

SACD’s are great. It’s a shame they’re on the wane now.

Actually…that’s one of the SACDs I purchased via Discogs. Only $15 CDN incl. shipping from UK. “Near Mint” used status.

Last time I heard this was a vinyl while demo’ing a Linn turntable and B&W speakers at an audio shop probably 25 years ago. Looking forward to the revisit in digital surround.

I’m listening to the 2-channel DSD layer in my main system now. Sounds great. The surround mix is good too.
