@Simon_Arnold3 I appreciate the comments. I have no background with pi and would require very detailed instructions to install the appropriate software on it. Googling it up turns up a ton of stuff written…but it’s in bits and pieces and I don’t (like many) have the patience for it!
The instructions for Ropieee on a Pi are very well done. The only thing that’s missing there for your use case is how to enable UPnP Bridge, which is shown here.

I’ve just bought a Wiim Pro to connect to the optical input on my Naim SuperUniti. Setup was very straightforward and the sound is excellent. £119 in the Black Friday - an amazing bargain to bring my Naim fully up to date with all modern streaming services.

I have the Wiim mini which is Wifi only. I use it as a streamer bypassing its internal dac using optical out. Configure it by using the Wiim app and being sure to disable any audio procesing for it like EQ etc.
It works very well when set as a pass-through device.
