Description of Issue

In my Roon App on my iPad (iPad OS 16.1) I cannot select a photo from my library. Only URLnupload is offered in contrary to my Roon App on my Win11 PC which allows to upload pictures from my pictures-folder.
And there are images of artists in Valence which aren’t offered for selection when I add new artists or composers even if the artist is known and listed already for selection. Strange.

The Roon App under Win11 allows to add a photo for and artist from my photo folder or via URL. The iPad App only allows to add it from URL. Select from isn’t offered. Why?

Yes, this is by design. There are more things you can’t do with your tablet compared to your desktop:

Make the Roon mobile app (tablet / landscape version only) a complete replacement for the desktop software as a Roon Control

It was my believe that the mobile builds for tablets (landscape GUI) are complete controls for Roon, offering all the features and options the desktop builds have, but lately I discovered the missing cog wheels in the about screen to configure the update policy for Roon. If you choose to use a phone then you’re even more limited (most editing options are disabled, no access to DSP details, …).
