Advice: cd system for elderly parent

My mom is frustrated and fed up with her Sonos speaker which she had hooked up to a NAD CD player. She hates dealing with iphones ipads, etc, and wants an old school physical system with simple knobs and buttons. She mainly plays CDs but would also like to play FM radio. Any suggestions for a simpler setup? My inclination was to find an integrated amp/receiver (maybe also from NAD) and some reasonable passive speakers (LS50 on sale maybe).

Look for a Denon mini system. They come with Mission bookend speakers, have CD player, FM and/or DAB radio, and remote.

I passed on my one to my elderly parents.

Edit: I should have added, in a single compact unit.

Get her an all-in-one. As close to an old boom box as you can. Yamaha makes one.

Perhaps look at Ruark? Old school styling, great sound, all-in-one.

Sonos is so annoying.

One thing to consider - does she like dancing to the music? Might impact your selection if so. I know my 75yo mom likes to dance a little, so I got her some $500 floor standing JBLs that the stereophile guys liked. Been pretty impressed with them myself. Def go wired, whatever you do. Wired, or all-in-one.

Inspired me to search a little. This is pretty cool, because it also includes an old school radio:
Tivoli Audio Music System BT

This is dope. But missing the radio.

Here is the Denon already mentioned:
