the Octavio Stream network player is using AirPlay 2 as one of its integrated technologies. So I can see the Stream under Roon as Airplay device. My question is, if I use the Octavio within Roon which resolution I will get? AAC (Airplay 2) or CD quality 16/44.1 when I stream my library files, Qobuz or Tidal ???

Roon sends out 44.1/16 over Airplay. Your signal path will show what is going on.

Both my Octavio AMP and WiiM Mini play CD quality through AirPlay.

Not in this case no. As Roon uses the original AirPlay and AirPlay 2 is backwards compatible.
The original AirPlay supported up to 16 bits/44.1 kHz. (Audio CD quality). For whatever reason Apple decided to limit AirPlay 2 to 256 kb AAC.

Normally yes. However as I’ve connected the WiiM Mini through its optical output to the Octavio AMP the Octavio’s DAC does all the work. So in my case they sound the same.
The Mini’s DAC doesn’t sound as good on its own if I am using the analog output.
