In my Library > Albums overview, I have quite a number of albums shown duplicated:
If I try to mark and merge them, it seems that it is one and the same album just shown twofold:
Maybe that is a reason why the album count is higher than the number of actual albums?
The problem seems to appear solely when sorting the covers by date or import date. I made sure that both server and roon remote are on early access B1456
Does this persist after a reboot of your Roon Server?
Actually, I see that this has been reported elsewhere in the Production releases as well…
It appeared 1h after the server started, but another reboot seemingly has solved it.

Keep an eye on it - it may come back. If it does, then I think @support should take a look at your logs and/or database - it may give them extra data to chase this bug down…
Will definitely keep an eye on it. If the problem is solved by a server restart, I am unlikely to encounter it again as my server restarts daily anyways.
So far as I can tell, it happens only after one adds music or modifies one’s collection in some form. I’ve stopped having this happen through an experiment where I’ve done neither for over a week now.
Well known and documented bug on here. Been going on since May. Happens all the time and does seem to be linked to library updates. You also get bogus numbers of albums when using Focus.
