Album pictures are not displayed in Roon Windows App

Both computer and roon server connected to one network switch

Is this local files or from streaming service?
Either way have you tried the very first dance which is to reboot everything and if a streaming service then log out, reboot the Roon Server then log back in again.

The problem has appeared after on of the Roon Client upgrade.
The machine is Windows 11. I can play the music but no song/album graphics is displayed. It works OK on other Windows 11 machine connected on the same network to the same Roon Server. Something is wrong with this particular computer.
I tried to re-install the Roon client.
Doing Setup/Clear image cache doesn’t help.
I disabled the Avast Firewall. Roon processes are listed among exception of Windows Defender Firewall.

You also might try going to settings\setup and Clear the image cache.


and go to settings/library and Clean up Library:

Not sure if this would help but try setting/general and toggle the “Allow for more covers and images” radio button?

I just posted more details about what I tried.

The problem is happening on only one of two Windows 11 computers of mine. Both are connected to the same Roon Server via the same network.

Both Tidal and local files images are not shown on one of the computers.

Clear the image cache has no effect

Then it quite possibly is a firewall issue on that computer, if I remember correctly there are now three Roon instances that need to be allowed but offhand I don’t remember the names.
Please check firewall settings on that computer again.

Honestly, it doesn’t look as firewall issue to me. Windows Defender Firewall has all Roon processes set as enabled for both outbound and inbound (for testing I switched off Avast Firewall, nevertheless the other computer has Avast Firewall active and works OK).

Well it needed to be checked so it was a good test.
And you have rebooted everything associated with this PC correct?

Yes, PC, Roon Server all rebooted more than once.

Is this only on that one page in the Tidal section? If you go the Album page are the album covers there?

Thanks for writing in to let us know about this issue. The first step here will be to review the Roon logs for your windows remote and your Roon server. Can you please use the directions found here and send over both sets of logs to our File Uploader?
