Description of the issue

I have quite a few albums that show up 2-3 or many many times in my collection and each time it’s just a couple of the songs, all of the appearances in the collection added together constitute the whole album so I suspect ROON is differentiating them from some of the meta data but I cant work out what (mostly). I think I know why but don’t know how to fix. The Dr Dre album in the screenshot has
multiple artists for the different songs. I’m guessing ROON thinks that means they are different albums. The Album Artists in the metadata is the same for every track (Dr. Dre) and Media Monkey shows this album as one album. Every time I have similar collaborations throughout my library ROON shows them as separate albums. Frustrating. What can I do? Can I tell ROON that these are all the same album?

Ahhh, I think I’ve realised the issue. I use Media Monkey to organise my library in Artist\Album\etc." and it has stored the files in seperate folders. I’m guessing that is why ROON thinks they are different albums.

I can get Media Monkey to re-arrange the files into folders for “Album Artist” (I hope!) or is ther an easier work around in ROON?
