Allo USBridge running version 2026.04.1 feeding a Mytek Brooklyn DAC requires daily reboot (Unplug and re-plug) for the Brooklyn to be seen in Roon and work.
Kernel Version: 6.12.81-SPCKFSH-usbridge
Questions:
Currently the “Reboot Schedule” is set to “Daily”. If I reset it to “Never”, might this solve my issue of having to unplug and re-plug daily?
Would re-flashing the SD card possibly solve my issue or could it be the Allo is just old and worn out? (Is there a special USBridge Signature firmware?)
Considering the Allo USBridge is no longer supported should I simply switch to a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5? (My other two endpoints, both RPI 4’s and are trouble free.)
Could my “Shanti” be used to power a Raspberry Pi?
On the “Services TAB”, does changing the “Max Sample Rate” (48,96,192) make any difference given my configuration? It doesn’t seem to.
No, you’re already running the latest version. Sending me feedback would be helpful though. you could trying to switch to the beta release, which might make a difference.
Well, to be clear: I do support the Usbridge, hence the specific RoPieee version for this device. a Pi 4 is more than capable of enough.
For which service? Anyhow, it has nothing to do with the unit to be visible in your network.
