Android can't find Roon Core

may be true but why did I only have the issue a few months ago. Shouldn’t a ‘10 year old issue’ been fixed? I find browsing through lots of forum posts rather annoying. In any case fixed here.
I had just assumed (wrongly I guess) that since this had happened recently it was an issue on my network. My bad.

I have 3 different Roon sites. Two with Roon server on Ubuntu Server 24.04.4 LTS, one with Roon Server on a Mac Mini M1, always latest macOS. Networking is all UniFi like yours, IGMP snooping off. My Pixel 10 connects to any of those servers, no problem. I had the Android-can’t-find-Roon-server quiter a few years ago, but not since. Do you have VPNs by any chance on your phone or Roon servers? I do run Tailscale on all my gear, causes no problems, but in general Roon is finicky about multi-homing.

A lot of us had it after a particular update. I also had it about 4 years ago and Roon fixed that .

I moved from DietPi to Mac OS in January this year and everything was great, and all my families Android devices went offline right after that particular update (I had multiple conversations with Roon support but I felt they ignored it for quite a while).

After that it also disconnects from the Roon server much more often when the phone goes off, hard to know with all the Roon and Google updates who has caused what. The original issue was a Roon server update but the follow up slow finding of server and disconnecting could be Android.
