MacOS client finds ROCK and connects smooth.
Roon iOS on iPad and iphone client finds ROCK and connects smooth.
Android client on multiple Android devices can not find and connect ROCK.
The only time the Android client detects ROCK is when ROCK is rebooted or when the active MacOS client logs out!
Then after again Android client disconnects after some time.
In addition to the Android model and OS version, could you please also provide the model/manufacturer of your router? Some routers need special settings applied as mentioned in our Networking Best Practices Guide. You may want to try to see if IGMP Proxying/Snooping helps with Android connection issues.
Thanks for the network setup info. I would try looking for an IGMP setting on your router and/or access point and see if toggling those triggers a change in behavior.
You could also try pressing on the “Help” button and seeing if you are able to connect by using the IP address of the Core or the multicast broadcast address of 255.255.255.255.
