Android “notification” area when used to control another zone

Metadata and transport controls are not available in the Android “notification” area on Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy A6 tablet.
Anyone has this working?

Edit 1: it works when playing Roon on an Android device, it does not work when using the Android device to control another zone.

Edit 2: changed to feature request.

It does work while using the phone zone, but most of the time I think most users stream to another device.
