Description of Issue

On my Android remote device (Samsung A54, Android 13, One UI 5.1) the scrolling within My Library, Albums regularly shows the top 2 albums as a blank screen when going down or up. It also doesn’t show the full last two when I scrub to the bottom. This only starts happening after half way through my library. So when scrolling down my library the top two albums vanish instead of just scrolling off the top. Once past the half way mark in my library it’s a large blank void.

Roon and Roon Remote versions

I have cleared the Roon Remote apps cache, cache and data, deleted app and reinstalled but still occurs. I don’t have another Android device to try this on, so unsure if limited to my Samsung A54. On my iOS devices this doesn’t happen.

And here the last two albums are visible on iOS Roon Remote, not shown on the above screenshots.

Could it be related to layout based on resolution

Here is the layout on my Pixel 7 Pro

Give that man a T-Shirt :grin::wink:

Opened up developer settings and adjusted the minimum width dpi. Was 384dp :thinking:

Changed to 395dp. So far so good.

I can be a bit dim at times. My geekiness wears thin these days. :nerd_face::face_with_peeking_eye:

What size and what print are we going for :rofl:

That suggests that Roons layout engine is not properly coping with that resolution and aspect ratio.
I am fairly sure I had a similar problem with one of my OnePlus phone’s that I got just as it came out and then an update fixed it.
Android developer tools are supposed to cope with this, but Roon is not developed using the Native Android development tools

Glad you got it all working nicely again :+1:

Changed to 410dp as was a bit choppy. :+1:

Let’s not let @RBO see this thread I keep telling him that Android is far the superior platform and all my IPhones are in a work drawer :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I normally do use an iPhone 14 Plus. The Plus was reduced to a 14 No more as I dropped it from a great height the other week at work.
