Any way to select files by file type

Is there be a way to search by file type ex: mp3, dsf, wav etc. and select them all as a group for random play.

In Album view try Focus and select Format.

This is where Focus comes in handy:

Go to Album view (Hamburger > Albums), click on Focus on the top of your screen (or press “/”), scroll all the way to the right and press the Format button. File types are in the selection criteria (right column):
