Because of known problems with the integrated graphics adapter, you should make sure to use the 32-bit version of Roon. Further question: Is Roon installed on an SSD (system partition of the laptop)?

Roon database performance is impacted most by the media the Roon database is run on. We don’t run Roon databases on spinning disks, and neither should you. Will it work? Yes. Will you have the best Roon experience: NO. Everything will be noticeably sluggish if you run on a spinning disk.
It feels like the answer to most “will it work?” questions is going to be “It’ll work, but it won’t be as good as it could be”, because lets be honest, no-one is going to wonder whether a Mac Pro works flawlessly or not.
