When starting Arc on iOS I get the message "There's an issue with your Roon Server. Your Roon server is online but there's an issue that's preventing access. Go to the Roon app for more information".In the Roon App (both on iOS and MacOS) under Settings -> Roon Arc all is green ("Roon Arc can securely access your Roon Server"). This issue with Arc appers both from inside my home network and from outside (5G). In my Internet Router I have opened the same port for forwarding to Roon server as I have set in Roon itself (and Arc worked with this setup before).
Describe your network setup
Roon Server is connected to FritzBox Internet Router by LAN. Port forwarding is set up in the Router for the same port as set in Roon under Arc setup.
I am having the exact same issue with the Roon Arc error message. I’m running a Nucleus+, ports are open, android phone. (So at least you know this isn’t an iOS issue.). Don’t want to have to uninstall/reinstall and lose downloads.
I am seeing the same thing. Running Roon from my NAS.
Can’t access via Arc both within and outside the home network. Was working fine in the past and no changes (that I know of) here.
Roon App says all is fine.
I have now bitten into the bullet and reinstalled the ARC App on my iPhone. Fetching the downloads again went surprisingly fast. So Arc is functional again-for now.
A couple of months ago I already had to reinstall the App after it forgot about my downloads without releasing storage. New downloads added to that on top.
So how can I trust in using ARC when going on a longer trip away from home without the chance to re-download on local net after a possible needed reinstallation?
