· ISP German Telekom is running on Fritzbox 7950 AX. Router-Modem isn't linked in bridge mode to other devices. Roon Core is a NUC, connected via LAN directly with the Fritzbox. The Android App for ARC shows a flawless connection to cloud and Roon Server (two green status spots under settings). No VPN connections on any device (PC, Smartphone, NUC).
You have correctly identified the situation with your observation about the Android app.
The errors you are seeing in the Roon Core settings (status_code: 530, error code: 1016) are due to a widespread infrastructure issue with Cloudflare, which Roon uses for connectivity testing.
Here is what is happening:
Your Network: Is actually configured correctly (as proven by your Android app connecting successfully).
The Error: Is a false negative. The Roon Core is trying to ask our servers “Am I accessible?”, but because Cloudflare is having issues, the request fails with Error 530.
Recommendation: Since your ARC app is working, you can completely ignore the error message in Roon Settings for now. It is simply a reporting glitch caused by the outage.
