Hello,
A strange problem has appeared on my Lenovo Tab M10+.
I recently changed my music folder; it was previously located on my mini-Mac’s hard drive, and now it’s on my Synology NAS.
When I check the ARC menu in Roon, it says that access to the ARC server is normal. The only thing I did was reset the port number.
It took a long time to access the ARC server.
I’m using a shared connection (4G) from my Android phone to connect my Lenovo Tab to Wi-Fi.
The home page loads normally when I open the ARC app, but when I try to scroll down, the app disappears from the screen and remains in a window; I have to click on it again to access it again.
However, when I use the bottom menus (search, collection), I have no problem accessing content, playing a song, or navigating through the options. Previously, I only used ARC via my smartphone and a 4G connection.
Is this because my tablet connects via a shared connection? Thanks for your help, if you’ve already encountered this problem…
Note: The collection contains 31,000 titles.
ARC is a phone app and not optimized for tablets, so odd things will happen when using it on a tablet.
Thank you very much ! The bad thing is that I couln’t log to the Roon with my android smartphone. The App says : “time anormally long to connect, check if your roon server is open and look at your firewall”. Never had this kind of questions before…And of course, I loggued out from the Tab
This topic can be closed; I’ve found the solution.
I put the same value for the PORT (55000), loggued off and reloggued in ARC and the connection was made naturally.
Really sorry for this not very useful request
