Arc not ready | Fios Verizon

I’m following Roon’s instructions to manually configure ARC with my Verizon Fios router, but when I access the port forwarding section, im not seeing the expected fields to enter these:

  • IP Address (of your Roon Server)
  • LAN/Private/Internal Port: 55000
  • WAN/Public/External Port: 55000

Instead, the Verizon Fios interface presents a different structure—likely something along the lines of:

  • Application
  • Protocol
  • Original Port
  • Forward To Port
  • schedule
How do i get help to connect ARC? If I succeed, I’ll definitely susbcribe (now on a free plan)

Hi @YVON

I’m just another user.

This isn’t the official support section.

Click here :arrow_right: Support and click on the get help link.
Then follow the onscreen prompts.

Where do i ask a question? the prompt leads to a loop. I want to communicate with someone

This YouTube video really helped me, but you need to create the rule and know the name of your server and its IP address on the network.

If you look at the bottom of his screen, just above where he typed “test”, you will see how he did it for Stremio (spelling?)

The forum is the support mechanism that Roon uses.

Follow this sequence and you should be ok.

I’ve realized it’s where it supposed to be, but the instructions in the ARC manual still don’t make much sense to me. I’m not sure how to properly configure it. How can I get in touch with a real person—not AI—who can walk me through it?
